I missed out on two out of the three classic games in Super Mario 3D All-Stars, and I’m going to take this opportunity to fix that. This newly announced retro collection for the Nintendo Switch was reviewed by our friends at Kotaku and presents three 3D Super Mario games from previous generations—including Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario 64—at 720p in handheld mode and 1080p Full HD while docked*.

*Super Mario 64 runs at 720p both in handheld and docked formats.

That’s three games in one standard $60 release. Whether you’re scratching a nostalgic itch or wondering what you’ve missed out on all these years, here’s where you can order Super Mario 3D All-Stars starting September 18. Remember, whether you like it or not, the three-game collection is a limited run, and it’s expected to go off-sale in March 2021.

On the plus side, there’s no shortage of Super Mario 3D All-Stars copies available at the moment, and since no pre-order bonuses were on offer, you’re not missing out by purchasing the trio after the street date. Though it’s currently out of stock at Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy have plenty of cartridges in stock, both online and in the store. Plus, Gamers Club Unlocked members will get double the reward points, double, double reward points on anything you trade in for it, a 20% discount on new and used games, and more.

Order Super Mario 3D All-Stars ASAP

If you want a physical copy, you should place your order as soon as possible. Again, the shelf life on Super Mario 3D All-Stars is shorter than average, and collectors won’t want any gaps in their game case. Like the physical edition, Nintendo will only sell the digital version through early 2021 as well, so there’s a chance you’ll miss out altogether if you wait too long.
