NextFort’s new data center, which is located in the Phoenix area, is set to open on December 11.

NextFort, which is a new player joining a growing number of data center providers in Chandler, AZ, will roll out 130,000-square-feet of ultra-secure, ultra high-density data center space on December 11. NextFort’s emphasis on high density and small footprint is designed for current computing requirements such as cloud computing and disaster recovery.

The facility offers complete self-contained environments. NextFort’s High-Density Computing Suites are turnkey, financial-grade data centers using innovative designs in power distribution, cooling and facilities architecture.

The company says they are able to deliver superior power efficiencies, achieving up to 40 percent better cooling efficiency and four times the density of computing power than at a conventional data center. The facility features individual suites made of steel and cement, which can house 20 racks and support up to 225 kW of critical load. Each turn-key customer suite will have dedicated mechanical infrastructure, including a rooftop cooling unit.

A wide variety of fiber optic and network service providers currently serve NextFort customers. In addition, a high-capacity modern power grid that powers some of the largest IT companies in the country serves NextFort customers.
