After a bit of back and forth about the needs of the line of business versus the needs of IT, Kit moves into a demo of vCloud Automation Center (vCAC). The demo shows how to deploy applications to a variety of different infrastructures, including the ability to look at costs (estimated) across those infrastructures.

Graf quickly moves into a (scripted) demo that shows off how you can use Cilium—which leverages eBPF to enforce HTTP-level security policies—to control the types of access that containers have when communicating with other containers via HTTP. Following the demo, Graf explains how Cilium (and BPF) works. What is XDP?

We recently built several demos with the pico engine to show this. The first was a demo of a computer closet (here's a wrietup of an early version of that demo ) that uses temperature sensors and several fans to show how picos can cooperate to achieve some goal (in this case keeping the closet sufficiently cool).

The current GSA applications look like stovepipes that often implement replicated services using different technologies and solutions (different RDMS solutions, different load balancers, duplicate identity/access management solutions). This leads to a demo from Russinovich on various Microsoft integrations with Docker.
