Microsoft Introduces AI-Based Dynamics 365 Copilot

Following the launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, the tech world has been paying increased attention to AI applications in various domains. With the inclusion of AI-powered technologies in consumer-aimed products such as Teams, Bing, and Edge, Microsoft has now revealed its progress toward tech for businesses with the launch of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot. It is the world’s first AI-based copilot for enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management objectives.

According to the tech giant, the copilot will be capable of leveraging cutting-edge AI and NLP abilities for a wide range of business operations, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, among others.

Primarily, the tool will allow professionals to create content, taking over significant time-intensive and repetitive tasks and data on best practices. The Dynamics 365 Business Central Copilot is expected to gain traction among players in online commerce to create online storefronts and product descriptions.

Businesses Can Leverage Automated Predictive Insights

Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service Copilot tools can minimize the amount of time users spend on clerical tasks. It also improves customer care experience with functions such as pulling out relevant CRM information and drafting contextual answers in the forms of email and chat, easing the process of virtual agents in collaboration with Bing and Azure OpenAI.

Dynamics 365 Marketing and Customer Insights can leverage the query assist feature in generating target segments with the aid of natural language abilities. This will also help in email marketing, where the copilot can suggest options based on topics entered by a marketing professional, existing organizational email databases, or other internet-based resources.

Furthermore, the Copilot for Microsoft’s Supply Chain Center can be used by Dynamic 365 Supply Chain Management customers to benefit from automated predictive insights for issues about supply chain operations such as materials, geography, inventory, financials, carriers, weather, and distribution networks.
