Facilitating Generative AI Support for Businesses and Developers

Following rumors of Microsoft’s plans to combine ChatGPT capabilities with its Office productivity applications, Google is aiming to counter such developments by integrating generative AI tools into Google’s applications.

The company is also launching new APIs aimed at supporting developer operations. Businesses and developers involved in AI explorations will be able to use PaLM API based on Google’s optimized language models along with MakerSuite, a combination ideal for prototype development.

Google has also announced the introduction of a Generative AI application builder that will allow public and private organizations to develop AI-based digital assistants and chat interfaces. All features will be rolled out to testers initially before giving access to the public.
