Microsoft reportedly to acquire cybersecurity startup RiskIQ for more than $500M

Bloomberg reported Sunday that Microsoft will acquire RiskIQ for more than $500 million in cash. Founded in 2009, RiskIQ sells “attack surface management” software and helps companies protect their web, social, and mobile exposures. The startup, which raised a $15 million Series D round in June 2020, is one of many attracting attention from investors and acquirers amid increased cyberattacks.
