Launching new framework: The Future of Work

Trends in the Living Networks

I have been working with one of the world’s largest private companies, which is engaged in a strategy project looking at the future out to 2025. Today a key workshop for the project was run, where we refined the project process and I provided some perspectives on the future of work as input to the study. While the future of work and organizations is one of my most important themes, I haven’t had any public summary documents on the topic.

Software leaders who are building applications based on Large Language Models (LLMs) often find it a challenge to achieve reliability. Click on the image to download the full framework. Today, I thought I would look at the ‘ Value Polarization ‘ section under Economic Structure.

ReBoot – The Humbled CIO

A CIO's Voice

'I have been remised in writing the last few weeks for a couple of reasons. First – Work has just gotten really busy and there have been a few issues that required me to put in extra hours. In my old age, those late nights require me to take longer to recuperate. Second – My weekends have been spent attending weddings, birthday parties, and the occasional family visit requiring me to be an unofficial tour guide.

Chief Seattle Greek Blog

'What’s a “Datapalooza” and Why is the White House having One? The last four years have seen an explosion in government “open data” with thousands of datasets posted online for public use. The City of Washington DC, under the leadership of then-CTO Vivek Kundra, was the first to post such data online in a “data catalog”. The effort vastly expanded when President Obama took office and, as one of his very first acts, directed the federal government to be open and transparent.
