An IT department who doesn’t want to talk to you let alone do what you need them to do? Unfortunately all of these things seem to be part of the modern definition of information technology.

Relaunch of Advanced Human Technologies Group website and new blog

Trends in the Living Networks

'I am extremely happy that we have finally relaunched the website for Advanced Human Technologies Group. Over the last couple of years we have been repositioning our activities so that our major corporate brand is AHT Group, the group of companies, rather than the individual companies. However that was not reflected on the ahtgroup.com website, which only covered our hub company Advanced Human Technologies, and in fact gave a very out-of-date view of its activities.

'Do you have an employee that does some things really well but other things horrible? I call such employees 50/50. Question, is it worth keeping such an employee on staff? Network Virtualization as I understand it

Virtualized Greek

'For some reason, I had a difficult time with the basic concept of Network Virtualization. VMware equates network virtualization to Server Virtualization. With server virtualization you can deploy an application to any physical server in your environment easily because the Server OS that the application resides on is abstracted from the network. This gives you an incredible amount of flexibility operationally.

IT "strategy" should be an integral component of business strategy. Most companies have no effective strategy. That is mostly because organizations lack focus and clarity on what they do. Rare business is ready to cognize itself and achieve self-consciousness (develop a strategy), and perhaps its leaders are also a lack of self-reflection upon who they really are.
