Amazon rebranded a video game-related benefit for Prime members on Monday, renaming Twitch Prime to Prime Gaming.

Prime Gaming will offer more new content and free games, plus a monthly Twitch channel subscription. Amazon, which acquired Twitch for nearly $1 billion in 2014, launched Twitch Prime in 2016.

Prime members will have access to free and exclusive in-game content for a variety of titles, including Grand Theft Auto Online, Red Dead Online, Apex Legends, EA Sports FIFA 20, League of Legends, and more than 20 other PC, console, and mobile games. As part of the membership, PC games can be claimed every month, and this month those titles include SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, Metal Slug 2, and Treachery in Beatdown City.

“Prime members already get the best of TV, movies, and music, and now we’re expanding our entertainment offerings to include the best of gaming,” Larry Plotnick, GM for Prime Gaming, said in a blog post. “We’re giving customers new content that makes playing their favorite games on every platform even better. So no matter what kind of games you love, and no matter where you play them, they’ll be even better with Prime Gaming.”

Amazon has agreements with game publishers such as Riot Games, Roblox Corp., and Rockstar Games. Players can access such content as exclusive skins for Apex Legends, a Player Pick Pack for EA Sports FIFA 20, and exotic weapons for Destiny 2. New items for Roblox are also coming later this month.

While Amazon pushes further into video game benefits on Prime, its own push into game production didn’t go so well earlier this summer. The launch of its much-hyped big-budget title Crucible fell flat and the PC shooter had to be moved to closed beta for further development.
