Of course you can. I'm wondering if it could be an adapter (hardware) issue. Installation of the DHCP role is straightforward enough until the question of IPv6 is raised. After the install, the server keeps warnin me to set a static IPv6 address on the server in order to be able to manage an IPv6 scope in DHCP.
