Jeda Networks describes themselves as a “software-defined storage networking” company. Basically, what Jeda Networks does is create a software-based FCoE overlay on an existing Ethernet network. This means that page swaps are extremely fast (on the level of microseconds, not the milliseconds typically seen with disks).
