It’s going to be an uphill battle from here: the four records it broke were in the 400,000 range, but the next record is the 830,000-player record Cyberpunk 2077 set at its December launch. It’s fun , and with a remarkably shallow learning curve and a $20 price tag, I’d be surprised if it bottoms out anytime soon.

The primary reason the Elite Folio is able to command that premium price tag is its design. I got CS:GO but couldn’t get Cyberpunk 2077 , Red Dead Redemption 2 , or Horizon Zero Dawn. Some people are certainly well-suited to the Elite Folio, but if you think you’re in that group, just make sure you know what you’re getting into.

And on the more recent Cyberpunk 2077 , the Raider put up 102 frames per second with ray tracing off and 46 frames per second with ray tracing maxed out. If you close your eyes and look away from the price tag and battery life, this is one of the gaming laptops of the year. Not the thinnest laptop around.

A big gaming laptop with a price tag that’s only kind of extravagant If you like the look of MSI’s powerhouse, RGB-packed GE76 Raider , but the price tag and the massive chassis are too much for you to stomach, the GS76 Stealth may be more your speed. This laptop is the GE76 junior, in specs, weight, and also price.
