I’m back home in Denver after spending a few days in San Francisco at Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2013, so I thought I’d take a few minutes to sit down and share a summary of the event and my thoughts. I am thinking that maybe 2013 will finally be the year of virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI) enabled BYOD. This allows a user to checkout an offline version of the virtual desktop. XenClient is actually a bare metal hypervisor which also allows the user to check out a virtual desktop. I was close in my prediction.
