Self-Sovereign Blogging

Phil Windley

Sometime in 2011, I decided to use Flickr to host the images on my blog. My reasons for that ill-fated decision are lost, but I suspect, based on what I was doing in 2011, that I saw using cloud-based services as a way to off-load some of the work, storage costs, etc. Tags: blogging flickr perl.

A Sample Makefile for Publishing Blog Articles

Scott Lowe

As some readers may already know, this site has been running on a static site generator since late 2014/early 2015, when I migrated from WordPress to Jekyll on GitHub Pages. I’ve since migrated again, this time to Hugo on S3/CloudFront. I haven’t found a tool to automate this yet!). Run make deploy.
