This book illustrates its arguments with the help of a tale of a fictitious company Vorpal going through the process of implementing SOA. Anyway, the authors' intentions were not initially to consider all the likely resistance to SOA adoption. Here are my thoughts after reading chapter 1 of the book " Mashup Corporations.
