In its new report, the New York State Department of Financial Services says the cyberattack and resulting bitcoin scam netted the teen hackers at least $118,000. New York Investigation blames Twitter for lax cybersecurity in attack. However, investigators says the biggest problem they uncovered was poor cybersecurity at Twitter.
