The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) conducted its first-ever meeting of “state points of contact” or SPOCs (pronounced like “Mr. December, 2015 – RFP issued seeking vendor(s) to deploy the network. Sometime in 2016 – RFP responses due. Late 2016?? – expect the first network deployments.
