There are two definitions we can use for SDN: We can use the original definition when SDN was first coined in 2009. According to the research that Bruce did, the term “SDN” was first coined in 2009 to refer specifically to the work being done on OpenFlow. Or virtualized firewalls? So—how do we define SDN?

Only yesterday, a third product that I worked on over the past little while called Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials was announced, on hardware provided by Western Digital. To do this I simply: Logged into the Home Server Clicked Start , then Run , and ran the wf.msc firewall configuration utility I clicked on New Rule In the wizard that opened, I selected Port , and clicked Next. Then I upgraded my rig to a win 7 machine with some new hardware and for the life of me can not get it to work. Sean Daniel.
