To recap how I’ve been tracking some of the evolution: In Part I (back in 2013) we observed AWS experimenting with expansion by reaching down into the enterprise by licensing its APIs (remember Eucalyptus?) As go most major industries and technologies, it appears that industry consolidation has pared-down the major cloud players to 3-5.
