It's true with whole industries as well, such as automotive. But, I already have a burp license so all I did was in Burb, you can tell it to listen on a specific interface, or you can tell it to listen on all interfaces. Vamosi: Burp requires you to have a license, Zap which stands for Zed attack proxy is open source.

As with most advances in automotive, this technology started at the higher end models. So the standards body that oversees the development of Bluetooth standards and licensing. And sometimes even revoked the developers licenses to individuals who did find flaws. So the car would start. But I didn't quite get it back then.
