A good way to think about DNS is to look at the contacts application on your mobile phone. In DNS, this is known as an "A" record and is one of many different record types including, but not limited to AAAA (IPv6), MX (mail), NS (nameserver), and TXT (text). DNS works like a contact application for the Internet.

After many investigations I settled for T-Mobile which has an international Blackberry supplement that is $20/month for all BB mail traffic. For a while this was great but as this doesnt include web and application internet traffic I started to see a rise in my roaming costs which T-Mobile charges at $15/MB. CTO - Amazon.com.
