I’m picky about touchpads, but this one is quite roomy, with a smooth Gorilla Glass surface — I’d choose it over plenty of touchpads I’ve used on multi-thousand dollar Windows laptops. Resizing a window or sending it to fullscreen, for example, takes just a bit longer than it does on $600 devices. But I got impatient at times.

But it definitely seems like a first step — to me, the Mac Studio line is a clear successor to Apple’s iMac Pro. In comparison, I heard a lot about how “Studio” is a great word given Apple’s target audience. This is not like the budget line for printer toner at Apple, this is a huge sum of revenue. So, I take exception to the comparison.
