The best laptop under $1,000 This year’s HP Envy x360 is a big deal. Traditionally, the Envy line has been HP’s midrange option; it’s a rung above the budget Pavilion, but a rung below the flagship Spectre. The displays on HP’s midrange laptops have knocked it out of the park in the last few years, and this Envy is no exception.

Both have been upgraded to 11th-Gen Intel processors and DDR4 memory — HP tells me they’re aimed at “mobile users who loved Dragonfly, but want an even faster and smarter device”. Lenovo has adopted the roomier 16:10 and 3:2 aspect ratios on a number of its premium ThinkPads, and HP should do the same with the Dragonfly.

HP’s 11-inch tablet also includes stylus support. HP has announced a new 11-inch tablet that appears to be a more or less direct competitor to Microsoft’s Surface Go , with a couple of interesting tricks. Internally, the tablet is available with an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of NVMe storage.

HP’s new Envy 34-inch All-In-One Desktop PC is a self-contained Windows 11 machine that’s available with comparable specs to a standalone gaming PC. 2 SSD slots, and HP says its RAM and storage are user upgradeable. If that’s too expensive for your tastes, HP also has a pair of other all-in-ones it’s announcing today.
