DevOps for device fleets: Esper raises $60M to manage devices used in retail, healthcare, schools

Seattle-area startup Esper just raised a second round of investment in less than six months to support growth of its software that helps companies manage fleets of tablets and smartphones. Insight Partners led the $60 million Series C round, which comes shortly after the company raised a $30 million Series B round in May.

The cuts are part of a “company restructuring,” according to a statement shared with GeekWire. “Despite strong customer and revenue growth in 2022, we felt it necessary to optimize the efficiency of the company’s operating costs, given the unpredictable business environment in 2023,” the company said in its statement.
